Ricability is the trading name of the Research Institute for Consumer Affairs. We are a national research charity that provides independent, unbiased information for disabled and older consumers.

Our consumer reports are based on independent rigorous testing and research. They aim to provide clear practical information about assistive technology equipment and about how well mainstream products meet the needs of older and disabled people.

We also work with manufacturers, service providers, regulators and policy makers to improve products and services. Our aim is to increase their awareness of the needs of disabled and older consumers through specialist research.

This product review site complements the product testing we carry out providing an easy way for individual consumers to give their views of the products they use.
